(Updated April 23, 2021)
Hello! Thank you for your consideration in commissioning me. I am happy to present to you my terms of service for your piece and look forward to working with you. If you commission me you agree to these terms. The timeline, payment, and scope of work are as follows:
-
Timeline
-
The artist will submit a sketch for review by the commissioner before proceeding with the finished piece.
-
Once the sketch has been approved major changes to the design or background will not be allowed (i.e. changing the background from a forest to a city, changing the time of day, changing the pose).
-
Delivery of a piece (or pieces) is usually between 20-30 business days not including weekends or holidays. (I will let you know if it will take longer and if any complications arise for the sake of honesty and clarity).
-
The final piece will be what the commissioner paid for upon previous discussion with me over email, twitter direct messages, discord messages, deviantart notes, or any form of media we may have had a discussion and agreed on payment in.
-
-
Revisions
-
Revisions and alterations of the piece are allowed free of charge up to five (5) times before additional work fees are added.
-
Revisions after the final piece has been delivered will not be entertained.
-
Major revisions previously stated in the “Timeline” section will not be entertained once the commissioner has given approval.
-
Major revisions after commissioner approval and after the artist has begun painting will require additional work fees.
-
-
Payment
-
Payment is required up front unless both the artist and commissioner have agreed otherwise.
-
For large pieces, payment plans are accepted. These will be set up via PayPal in a single invoice with the “partial payment” option available. Note: this option still requires full payment through staggered payments by the commissioner over the course of an allotted time.
-
Full refunds are only available for pieces or projects the artist has not started.
-
Partial refunds are available before the painting stage.
-
Past the approval by the commissioner and the painting stage there are no refunds.
-
-
